At some point the map was updated to show forts and encampments in the area and includes several beautiful profile drawings From Hilton Head to Charleston, quite detailed. This map covers from Hilton Head and Port Royal sound to Charleston harbor and Long Island. The inland demarcation line for the map appears to be the Charleston and Savannah Railroad line. The triangulation map covers from the Florida border at Amelia Island to Georgetown South Carolina and Winyah Bay. Slight browning at fold marks, paper has been de-acidified, original issue fold marks, reinforced on verso. Good to very good condition.
